| The Scottish town of Irvine had at least 2 greyhound tracks in the past, the second of which opened at the Caledonian Stadium on 21st August 1933. The track had a circumference of 400 yards and was situated at 4° 39' W 55° 37' N. It ran sprints over 325 yards, standard races over 525 yards and distance races over 725 yards. It was run as an independent track throughout its history. |

| The track was situated on Bank Street and in 1932 the admission price was 2d, with race cards a further 2d. There had been dog racing in the area for almost 20 years, with whippet racing taking place at Stanecastle as early as 1913, but this new venture became very popular, often attracting crowds in excess of 500 and racing twice a week.The track operated for almost 60 years before closing in 1993. |
